Internet Update: ???

My connection is still random. I spent an hour on the phone with Time Warner Cable, and they still haven't a clue as to what's causing it. The lady I spoke with did say there would be some people working on the lines near us, so hopefully that fixes everything. I scheduled for a free checkup as well, so they'll be coming to our house, checking our modem and lines, as well as our outside lines. I just okay'd the check. My dad has said no every single time I ask if they can check what's wrong, even though it's free. Hopefully by Saturday, they find out why I randomly disconnect, and why I get an avg of 150kb/s rather than what we're paying for: 1.5mb/s

My internet was down almost all day yesterday, and the times I was able to get on, I was bumped off. I wish I could convince my parents to get a new cable provider, but they're stubborn...

Other Shit Update: ...

I spent 3 hours on the phone negotiating bringing down some credit card interest. I used $500 (the limit) on a card to buy my computer. At the time, I was working 35-40 hours a week, and was just getting ready to go back to college. Well, once I paid for it, almost immediately after I had Target demote me from the electronics specialist to working everywhere at 15-20 hours a week. That, and I had to pay for college. So I went from having to pay $500 on this card to $786.49. I negotiated them down to $615.74, which I had to go through several supervisors to get. I paid that off in full, so I have a $0 balance on my card, and I cancelled it.

I have just over $100, and won't get a paycheck until not this friday, but next. Ugh, at least I'm back at 30+ hours a week...

I got a second job, so suck it!

you know, another good credit idea, if you want to help your credit out a little, is to not cancel credit cards. Let it just expire in it's own time. Sometimes they report cancelled credit cards as bad credit, and your score gets even worse.
